Simon Durivage


Simon Durivage had a career in radio and television, both public and private, from 1968 to 2015. He has been a reporter, anchor and host of more than ten news and public affairs programs. Throughout his career, he has been honored with numerous awards, including six Gemini Awards and three Métrostar (Artis) Trophies. In addition, Simon Durivage was made a Member of the Order of Canada in 2014.


Since his retirement from the media, he has taken up painting and his colorful works are exhibited at the Galerie Québec-Art, located in Place Royale in Quebec City as well as at the Salon Art Club, recently installed on Laurier Avenue in Outremont.



Simon is also vice-president and spokesperson for a charity organization, FENDLI, which helps a home for about 100 underprivileged children in Haiti and he donates the profits from the sale of his paintings to this registered charity.
